Architect: Henk Russcher
Since 1999, artists have been working in the studio complex at Koraalstraat 17, originally a school built in 1928. The former classrooms now provide workspaces for artists. The striking building provides facilities to some ten artists from various disciplines: drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and conceptual art.
Try to come up with something funny, crazy or playful. Put on your wedding dress, princess dress, or something else unusual. Or bring a strange object. And visit the studio of Frank Stoks. I’ll make a quick drawing of you on my iPad. At the same time, you can watch the drawing process, projected live onto the wall. The drawings will then be printed and exhibited in the studio.
