De Wasserij is somewhat hidden away in a large courtyard near the Bergweg in North Rotterdam, in a factory building that once served as the industrial laundry of the former Bergweg hospital. Since its opening in November 2019, De Wasserij has served as a versatile breeding ground for fashion. The complex houses some 50 workshops for a variety of disciplines: fashion, textiles, costumes, shoes, goldsmithery, photography, printmaking. There is also a maker lab, a clothing swapshop, a sewing studio, fashion courses, and spaces for events and exhibitions.

During the GRAW you can view the collections and artworks in the studios, see makers at work, and browse through stock and sample sales. The main area will feature various exhibitions of work by artists and designers from De Wasserij, as well as a few guests. You can also enjoy a drink at our bar.
