To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are organizing a special outdoor exhibition called Home from September 21 to 27 at the back of Keilewerf 2.
Home, a meeting installation by Frans van der Horst, embraces, invites, and… feels good to sit, lie down, hang out, and be in. The Home towers, constructed from pipes, couplings, and fabrics, each offer a unique place to stay, nest, meet, and inspire each other through variations in proportions, direction, and fabric placement. And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can simply build something yourself that suits you.
Keilewerf as a concept and in execution works in the same way. A haven where creators form a community, find each other, inspire each other, and create beautiful things. And they’ve been doing this for 10 years! To celebrate and depict this, the Home towers are connected with a stream of images from the past, present, and future, merging Home and Keilewerf together.
This exhibition is part of both the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend (September 21-22) and the Place Making Week Europe (September 24-27).
